Whereever I go, your eyes follow me
Whatever I do , your thoughts control me
Whenever I rest, you walk into my mind
Whenever I sleep, you visit me in dreams

Whenever I smile, you rest on my lips
Whenever I cry, your hands wipe my tears
Whenever I try , you push my strength
Whenever I fall, you hold me back

You hold me back , you hold me back
From my tears and unknown fears
You hold me back, you hold me back
Lest I crash down into a painful abyss


You are the reason for my living
You keep me awake and moving
You nudge me to aim higher
You give me a purpose to breathe

You, my Love, my Life
The never tiring support
My ever shining sky
My ever lasting ground


Love has a unique way
Of not just giving Life
Sustaining,  nurturing and enduring
Nourishing, caring and cheering

This ‘One You ‘ for me God made
May each of you have your ‘One’ too
That stays with you and rejuvenates
Through thick and thin, never enervates

And don’t you ever forget too
To be that ‘One’ for the other too!
